A true variable-gain tube topology. Progressive ratio that grows with engagement, wide soft knee, H2-dominant saturation that blooms with the gain reduction. Warm, musical, never harsh.

Photocell-style detector with biphasic release: a fast initial decay blended with a slow tail. The smooth, breathing character of opto compressors.

VCA
Solid-state push-pull. Clean, fast, precise. Knee adapts to ratio (softer at 2:1, harder at 10:1) — the modern workhorse for transparent level control.

FET
JFET-style with program-dependent attack: very fast on transients, slower on sustained content. Hard knee, ratio harder than its label. Punchy, aggressive — pure grab character.

Auto-release glue compressor. Holds long on transients to avoid pumping, releases quickly on sustained passages so the mix breathes. For full mixes and drum buses.

The Windows installer is not code-signed, so SmartScreen may say the publisher is unknown, and a brand-new installer occasionally trips an antivirus heuristic. Neither is a detection — it is a reputation score that every unsigned release starts from zero.

macOS

Nothing to do. The disk image, the installer and all four plugins — in all three formats — are signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, with the ticket stapled into the files so it works offline. The publisher shows as Tony Cuny — the legal name behind Xeni Audio, which is what Apple puts on the certificate. Logic loads the Audio Units with no workaround.

Free demo, no sign-up required. All four plugins: no longer require AVX2 — they now run on any x86-64 processor, including AMD FX/Phenom and Intel chips from before 2013, where hosts used to scan them forever. Also fixes the editor window failing to open on Windows over Remote Desktop, in a virtual machine or without a GPU driver, and window sizes not being remembered. The sound is unchanged.
